Newham Training Hub and ELFT NHS Trust is excited to offer Venepuncture training to Newham Primary Care Staff. Enhance your skills and ensure you are up-to-date with the latest venepuncture techniques!

Theoretical training (T) is delivered virtually using Zoom. Practical training (P) is face to face via *booked timed 1-hour slot between listed times. You will be able to book your practical time slot on the day of your theoretical training.

Audience: This training is designed for General Practice Nurses (GPNs) and Healthcare Support Workers (HCSWs) in primary care who are either new to venepuncture or need a refresher. 

New to Venepuncture: 

Must attend both the theoretical and practical sessions. 

You must attend the theoretical session first. 

Proficient but need an update: 

Only required to attend the theoretical session.
